The cost of enthusiasm - whilst doing a sight survey for work, at a railway yard in south London, I was invited to see this beauty, (my back, was giving me, some considerable pain) however, I managed to take a number of photo's - then came the invitaion, 'why don't you climb aboard to take some some shots in the cab' fool that i am, it was an invitation, I could not resist, without a second thought, I ascended the vertical ladder, one step and my back went with vengence, bigger fool that i am i climed aboard, then spent the next 12 weeks, paying!!!!!

Engine No.34067 'Tangmere' Merchant Navy class, Southern Region. Train carries ensignia 'The Golden Arrow' or 'la flèche d'or', which would run from Waterloo London to Dover.
