Description
Don't ask me how many hours I have spent on this illustration, but it seems a life time. However I have got to a stage where, I think its time to present, I am sure there are some out there that could make recommendments to improve improve but I am reasonable satisfied, The final full size file ended up at 850MB, I have reduced it down to 36" wide here for you to see, hope you like.If you would like to down load the original file 13200 (40"+) x 4200 pixels wide.

I'd have to say, the Big Boy is one of my favorites, if not the favorite engine I like.

An answer a long time comming, purely and simple it was the number on the model I designed from, I understand your interest, especially if you are from the US of A but my knowledge of you ladies is not as critical as mine is of English rails.

I'm Dutch. But you haven't heard about the restoration of Big Boy locomotive 4014?

No not at all, I dream often of them completing a P2 the all time favourite of me, but my dreams are fairly UK selfish, our steam history being so full for one. Whatever I see other loco from around the world and wonder in amazment, my diviation with Big Boy involved many hours of research, before I even placed my first vector, plus it was a real satisfaction to complete, however I should of really spent my time on the LNER so much to do, so little time, many more works to complete.

You've got to be kidding me...
Really, a train fan that hasn't heard of the restauration of the Big Boy!? Union Pacific made the announcement back in July of 2013! Heck, 4014 is already home in Cheyenne!!! I'm astonished, and it's not really in a positive way... I'm sorry.
And before you ask: I know plenty of stuff going on in the UK, such as the new-build projects on the GWR Counties, Granges and Saints, the LMS Patriots and the LNER P2 Mikados.

No you have me wrong, I am not a train fan i am a human being, I study LNER, their locomotion and traction, whilst journing as such I see and acknowledge much, but all does not register, by all means lead me to the Dutch equivilent of the A1, A3 or A4's and I will gain much pleasure, but to remain, foster and cherish such as I do with the LNER would not be possible. There again considering the all of my work and family(please visit my gallery, I have done thus of yours, keep up the illustration, you do well), I have little time left to study the whole wonders of this amazing World we live on. So please do not be suprised, take your time, be amazed, but cherish and care, for that you can only manage to foster, cherish and love.Β
Good luck on your journey, we have but one life. Take care.

You know what I mean: 'I've got no comment'. Lets just say you're missing out on a ton of good stuff in the real railfan world... especially in the UK and US...
