This actually was an 'improved' version of another one I did months ago but never got to publishing it (I may upload the 'old' version another time as scraps or in Sta.sh at least).The title of the image is pretty self-explanatory. There's no rocket science behind it.
It's just the three main girls of the first Digimon season as mermaids. That's a really simple concept. Hopefully, I get to do a version of them with Yolei in their season 2 wear. That would be cool. 
I basically had the girls in their season 1 wear, or at least attempted to make it similar. Kari turned out to be my favorite here. I like her design and her dolphin tail.
I like to head-canon that if she and Tai were 'merfolks' (or whatever the neutral gender word for mermaid/merman are) they'd have dolphin tails ala Sora of Kingdom Hearts. I'm not too satisfied with Mimi though. 
Must be the green flower clashing with her outfit...yeah that's probably it. As for what's happening here, it's up to you guys to interpret it. Digimon belongs to Toei.
The mermaid maker belongs to Azalea's Dolls.

Hopefully I may do their season two versions with Yolei of course. So we'll see how that turns out.

To be honest, maybe it's just me but the whole pink dye on Mimi was weird.
