So, I was in the mood to do this recast character meme so I ultimately came up with this. It was based on an image I doodled at my uncle's home in summer vacation : sta.sh/01pm43jmjc35 Apologies for the bad image That said, I still had fun with this recast. It was originally supposed to be all Gravity Fall characters save for Audrey II, but after realizing that none of the male antagonists like Gideon or Robbie made a good Orin, I decided to scratch that and only had Seymor, Audrey, and Mushnik 'played' by Gravity Fall characters.Seymor Krelborn : Dipper Pines (Gravity Falls)
Audrey : Pacifica Northwest (Gravity Falls)
Mr. Mushnik : Stanley "Grunkle Stan" Pines (Gravity Falls)
Orin Scrivello : Francis (Fairly OddParents ....does this kid still make any appearances in the show?
Audrey II/Twoey : Petey Pirahna (Mario Bros. Franchise)
Chiffon, Ronette, and Crystal : Heather, Gwen, and Courtney (Total Drama) (It was originally going to be the Chipettes)

(I actually listened to a couple of the songs recently, and I had a brief vision of of Heather, Gwen, and Courtney pulling off their roles here.

Then I guess my gut choice of choosing the Amazon Trio over the Chipettes was the right choice. Besides, I can imagine Gwen, Courtney, and Heather singing those darker songs...

Dipper as Seymour, Pacifica as Audrey, Petey Piranha as Audrey II (or shall we say for this version, Pacifica II?), and the Amazon Trio as Chiffon, Ronette, and Crystal.

At least in the Broadway version...the movie spares Seymour and Audrey....

So I've heard, the movie had the happy ending because test audiences didn't like the darker ending that was originally intended at the time.

Yeah,...they're both greedy and bossy to the main character but to be fair Stan is a bit nicer than Mushnik and would probably be spared (hopefully).
