My piece for Task 2 of Constellation-Senshi

Task 2: Meeting the Lady

The Lady of the Stars has begun gathering the Constellation Senshi. Some of them she meets in their dreams, others in visions. Tell us about how your senshi meets our leader, and learns they are a soldier who stands in the ranks of the Constellation Senshi.
1. Please show your senshi meeting the Lady of Stars. She can appear however you'd like, such as in a pool of water, or in a different outfit or appearance.

2. Please tell us where your senshi's brooch came from. Did the lady lead you to it? Was it handed down by family? Did you find it in the attic, tell us where it came from! (Keep in mind the originals are from the tablets found millennia ago, and were in the possession of the original Constellation Senshi when they came to live on ancient Earth.

Hafsa felt her eyes glaze over as her professor droned on. She hadn't slept well the night before, the last few nights she'd been having bizarre dreams about stars, they'd been keeping her up and it had seriously started to affect her school work. She struggled to pay attention, but his voice was so monotone and there was a strange buzzing in her ears. She blinked and the room around her blurred, filled with brightly colored cosmos.

"I fell asleep in class!" she thought, furious at herself. "And those damned stars again!"

She cautiously looked around, this one felt so real, different from the other ones. Everyone else was gone, no desks or papers, or even chairs marred the peaceful stars. Hafsa was alone save for a statuesque woman standing before her. Belatedly she realized she should be afraid, instead she was calm, curious. She approached the woman who smiled warmly at her. Long dark hair flowed freely down the woman's back, rippling as though there was a breeze. Which was strange because there was absolutely no breeze, there was nothing except for stars and galaxies and this bizarre and beautiful woman.

Her necklace warmed against her chest and she absently tugged at it. A necklace handed down to her from her maternal grandmother before she'd died.

"Hello sweet one," her voice was soothing and Hafsa felt a wave of peace wash over her. "It has been extremely difficult to speak with you. You have quite the willpower, always waking up before I could reach you." The woman was smiling rather dryly and Hafsa frowned.

"Who are you?" She heard herself ask, her own voice in this place surprised her, it felt wrong that she should speak.

Instead of answering her she placed cool fingers on her forehead. "Wake up my fierce little lioness, Leonis Minoris."

She blinked and rubbed her eyes, looking around, everything had returned to normal, the beautiful woman was gone. Her necklace was still warm and she touched her forehead where cool fingers had been only seconds before. Her professor had stopped droning and students were packing their bags around her. Hafsa stood and shoved everything in her backpack before she raced out the door. She felt restless and knew sitting through another lecture was out of the question. Hafsa sent a quick text to her roommate, Sade, to let her know she was heading home and walked to her car. She could still hear the melody of the lovely woman's voice in her head.

Hafsa felt her eyes glaze over as her professor droned on.
