Description
[link]The funny thing is the fact that the original version of this pic was done in November '08, and it was just me testing how far the Krystal model's legs could go outwards before suffering any mesh deforming issues.
The pose ended up looking so nice that I threw clothes on her, added a quick background, and fired off a render. Maybe it was the blatant cleavage exposure, but it seemed to go over rather well with the viewers.
When going back to my old renders, I realized that one thing that really could make the picture look better.... were some damned reflections. Surprising, right? I throw 'em on most anything nowadays.
Sooooo yeah, I remade the pic from scratch, put different hair on Krystal, and there you have it!

Think you could toss up a link to the original for comparison purposes?

Thanks. Definitely a major difference between the two. Quite something to see how your talents have changed between the two, isn't it?

Certainly is! Also goes to show how much nicer things look with reflections.

Wowsers. I'm really liking the hair style you gave Krystal! It's really pretty the way it partly covers her face and of course, the smile doesn't hurt either.
The flexibility is definitely kinky and kinda hot.
Great job Daymond!

And this hair doesn't look terribly different than her normal one, so it seemed like a good way to make a transition. It just seems a li'l more... messed with. :> No one's hair is perfect at the end of the day, after all!

Check that out, and the thumbnails. The hair Krystal is wearing in this pic is actually the hair that came with this model. Just recolored.

Ouch! $20 hair cut. Although that can be considered cheap sometimes.
I like it!

Well, it was for the whole model, and some clothing for her.
.. and I got it when it was on sale.. In comparison, the model I use for Miyuna? Bought her for $40.00. Goes to show that 3d stuff isn't cheap sometimes.. and hell, these are the cheaply-priced good models.

Wow, they certainly are not cheap! Goes to show that some art (or 3D modeling) isn't a cheap hobby. I commend you for you good work.

Thanks!
I know that some of the 3d render naysayers hate on Poser and similar stuff because the artists tend to use the same models, and various other reasons.. As you see firsthand by the prices, us 3d render peeps -have- to keep using the same models to make the purchase worth it! Besides, one thing I've found is that since there's multiple designers of the character models, there really isn't a standard for how certain models get manipulated and moved, so it really takes a while to kinda "break in" a model, and really know how to use it to its best ability. Hence why I pretty much (almost) always use Krystal, and the Terai Yuki 2 model (which is the one for Miyuna).
... and they're fun

They certainly work for me! I really can't help but fav the vast majority of your Krystal modeling.
I really like the style and look you give her, despite the model being a pre-made one.
I've seen how long it takes just to get poses down without awkward frequencies like how a limb is supposed to bend and where a characters center of balance needs to be so the pose is realistic.
I've never done it, but I know it ain't easy.
