As a result of her past, she has become a hardworking, dutiful, young lady with ulterior motives. Although she has a colder expression, she doesn't lack sympathy and is quick to help the ill or injured. She's a bit blunt in terms of treatment or assistance though. She can be very cold though and end you as necessary, especially if it's a situation between her living and you dying. She has little to no hesitation in battle, however is hesitant to fully kill somebody.

Since she often lured men and women to alleys to rob them blind, she's generally detached from others. She only sees them in terms of bettering her own motives, or as a whole. However she does gain respect for others over time if she feels she can trust you. This is a long progression, and a learning process thing for her.

She wasn't promiscuous however, and did not sell her body once, as she often either knocked them out or killed them long before that. She doesn't have an innocent mind though, and often teases her male companions for their dirty minds.

Given most situations, she can find a solution in a short matter of time, and clear them with exceptionally good manners. She doesn't panic if someone is dying, seeing that as costing them time rather than just taking care of them.

History:

Chantelle comes from a common family that resided in the Middlegrounds, in Noctil. Due to the cultural whim of being able to discard family aside in search for power, it wasn't uncommon that she was left alone by both parents as they went on their own trivial pursuits. Eventually, neither of them returned home and were presumed dead. Her older sister often resorted to odd jobs to bring in extra funds for food, but died on the job one night while Chantelle was 15. This left the younger girl a bit distraught at the time, and exceptionally wary of strangers.

Left to her own motives, she became a wandering traveler in terms of living. She used her appearance to her advantage, given that puberty was kind to her. This is where she begun tricking the opposite, and sometimes even the same gender to spend time with her until she found an opportunity to knocking them out, and stealing their belongings. She did it in terms of survival, rather than spite. She felt slightly guilty for the whole situation, but it was either take the advantage, or be the one abused. A few close encounters resulted in back scars that are hidden by her blouse. She gained a more stoic or poker face expression over the years of muddled survival attempts.

Eventually finding herself in Agniratha, Chantelle decided to reprimand her time in healing the homeless, and honing her self defense. She eventually took residence in an Inn serving others for money, so that she could invest in an animal companion. After 3 years of seeing how the cycle of desperation would only get worse, she looked towards what she felt causes it. She grew less fond of Soleil residents as a result. Not wanting to remain as someone else's potential tool, or end up in the same state as her sister before her, she chose to enroll into the army, wanting to give her life more purpose and further improve her quality of life.
