Camellia is your average bookworm student. Often face first into a dusty book, or writting extensive notes, she reaches for marks of excellence, and often beats herself up if she doens't achieve such standards. Although no standards were expected of her, it was a self inflicted goal.

Due to her larger than normal vocabulary span and knowledge of sometimes useless things, she comes across as a bit blunt. Although her innocent demeanor saves her from being viewed as condescending fortunately. She's always anxious, if not paranoid, because of being teased so often with her brothers. Often throwing slimy things down her hood, or frogs in her shirt as a child, she's grown to be somewhat traumatized by the creatures. Her hair is also everywhere, and barely kept tame, which bothers her greatly as she loves to be uniform and organized!

She suffers to second hand embarrassment very quickly Any form of embarrassment, or awkward situations lead her to hitting something with a book, or possession at hand. ( however she's started to grow out of this habit, much to her fortune.) Although she doesn't end up hitting people, it does accidentally happen. Due to her introvert nature, she has struggles in very social situations, unless it's a topic she's very comfortable with. However she doesn't take long to warm to people, unless you've given her a reason to dislike you.

History :

Camellia came from a pureblood- considered family. Her mother is a pureblood, and her father is a half blood. Although her Father's lineage is considered a Pureblood, it was given a questionable status due to the chain of half blood marriages, and it not being considered as sullied. This lead to some conflict between other families who held prejudice towards those who were not 'true'. It was her grandfather who first married a half blood, resulting in her father being that same status later.

Although raised in a manner in which she did not spite muggle-born, or half bloods, she lived in a surrounding in which it was a common banter. However often told by her father to pay no mind, she carried onward with her studies, and worked with other students regardless of status. It's questionable if her family is a 'true' pure-blood status however. This was not elaborated to her, but it's suspected from her mother's side , rather than her father's due to his family's prestige status over her mother's. She was often teased when she was young for being an intense bookworm by her brothers, who were more profound, and extroverted than she was. The constant teasing has lead her to be more of a room hermit almost, barely wanting to go outside, resulting in a very pale complexion from the lack of sun exposure. She was the only sibling out of three to end up in Hufflepuff, and shares the resemblance with her late grandmother. She's the youngest child in the Blythe Family.

Camellia was very close to her grandmother, Nadeline. She passed away due to heart disease and older age one year before Camellia's 3rd year. This added to Camellia's tendencies of locking herself up and immersing herself into other things. Although occasionally depressed, the common love for books and knowledge, and reading with her grandmother, kept her rather content. It also aided in understanding the situation and finding closure of some sort. She still has harder days, but inches forward slowly in her own ways.

Her reclusive behaviour eventually led to her slight vitamin D deficiency, which she tends to by going outside usually in the evenings for minimal exposure to getting sunburn. She oddly hasn't ended up with seasonal affective disorder, which was probably avoided by the small outings each day. She's also not a morning person. If woken up early after a long night of studying, she tends to be very bitter. This was learned the hard way in her family residence. Otherwise, she's a quiet person in the morning and will mind her business until she's fully awake.

Given the events with the muggle world, she grows heavily concerned for the well-being of both parties. Although it is just potentially one group doing this, she's not quick to trust anyone in relation to the situation and is likely to avoid them, or lie, to keep herself and others she cares for safe. Even though she has a preference to being honest most of the time, this is her only exception. She hopes for there to be a quick resolve, so that the tension between both communities cease and that everyone is able to continue with everyday life.

Nathaniel Blythe : Her oldest brother. He is currently 18 years old, and often a socialite, and the braver sibling. Current Gryffindor.
Blake Blythe : Her second oldest brother. He's currently 17 years old. He's a bit quieter, but joins in with Nathaniel and teases her often. He also tends to talk down to his sister. Current Slytherin.
Maurice Blythe: Her Grandfather and previous patriarch of the Blythe family. He's slowly gone crazy due to his old age, and after his wife's passing. Former Gryffindor.
Nadeline ( Ravine ) Blythe: Her Grandmother. Passed away due to disease a year before Camellia's third year. Former Hufflepuff.

Although he teases her often, she gets his humor and isn't as offended as she was in her youth. She is happy to have quirky conversations and be casual around Calder, and isn't as reluctant for conversation.

- Having met him at the library while she was struggling for books on higher shelves, she has a positive impression of him. He seems nice and would more or less try to talk to him although embarrassed at times.
