Thanos delights in traveling to different locations and meeting new people. With work as a cartographer he specifically maps out caves in the desert and often knows underneath the desert better than what lies over the sand. He can be tricky with the knowledge and may get visitors lost simply because it amuses him.
He doesn’t mind making friends with others if they interest him, though keeping his focus may be a challenge since he’s easily distracted by new and exciting things- he tends to forget names, and jump subjects in conversations. If offended he’s quick to turn his back on them or hex them in some petty way.
Despite his openness to others, he doesn’t like physical touch or being crowded around.

Originally a rockruff, Thanos died at a young age due to an illness. His parents kept him indoors due to a hereditary immune disorder before illness finally claimed him. Reborn as a shuppet he was unaware of how much time had passed or where his family went, but the dust covered broken down family home he formed back in was not the one he remembered from when he was alive.

He haunted that home for a while, clumsily figuring out his new incorporeal form and waiting for his sister to come back. Eventually it would become apparent no one would return to the dilapidated home, he built up his courage to set out to find her himself.

In his travels he found the world to be, though at times annoyingly bright, a very interesting place. Death ironically gave him a healthier body and he made the most of it and eventually evolved to a banette once he was strong enough. He travels constantly, getting jittery or impatient if he stays in one place for too long and feels trapped. If confronted in a fight while he may not have a strength advantage he spent enough time in the shadows to use them to the fullest and will rely on speed and cheap tricks to win.

During the day he’ll stick to caves but may emerge in a smaller form that’s less likely to burn or tire out. He’s able to withstand his adult form in direct sunlight for a couple of hours depending on how much energy he uses before exhaustion sets in And he needs to rest.
