"But then again," Lilo suddenly got a somber look on her face, "I remember once, I told dad that I wanted to live forever, and he said I shouldn't. I asked him why, and he said the only thing worse than dying is living forever, because you'll outlive everyone you know, and then you'll miss them for all eternity."

I heard something about the creators saying when lilo grows up she leaves stitch, has a daughter, she befriends stitch secretly, and lilo wants nothing to do with him because she wants to forget the past or whatever

Uh no, the original creators have nothing to do with that anime's confusing attempt in continuation, specifically in separating lilo and stitch, that was all Japan's plot in their AU tv show. Besides, the whole message of the original movies and american tv show was all about lilo and stitch's strong bond and importance to protect their family. So... Yeah it's kinda dumb that this anime goes against the whole point of the original, which is why many don't take it seriously as a connection to the movie (I'm one of those). Like I said the anime and original cast from Disney have nothing to do with eachother. The Anime AU/sequel is just a poor attempt to make more money just by adding Disney iconic characters.

yeah I understand what you mean, the movie was all about family and having it be thrown out the window makes no damn sense! I like that! but in my opinion some familys crumble and if done right, the anime idea would be pretty cool. (random life story alert!) I come from a very abuse mother that lied to me all my life so I learned not all families are staying together. yes lilos family did love her but maybe something terrible happened and shes trying to forget it. and having nani be too busy with her boyfriend would make sense as well leaving lilo to live alone with her daughter. im both opinion, stay or leave, both great ones

Strolling by while looking for art to browse and I come across this majestic piece! it brings me to tears seeing such a thing, and it reminds me...we can't live forever andΒ are most likely doomed to die at some point whether of age, illness, or accident.
