Description
Its been awhile since I remade a public domain character, or in this case characters. At the "Public Domain Super Heroes" site I found the SECRET CIRCLE [link] who were begging for a make over. Here's what the site has to say about these Golden Age characters:"The Secret Circle, dreaded enemies of injustice, are actually the Olympic champion Storm brothers - Jim Storm, heavyweight boxing champ; Larry Storm, pole-vaulter; and Mac Storm, track star. The Secret Circle delivers bad guys to the police in their speedy "Midnight Racer" car. They have no powers but possess Olympic-level athletic skills."
I decided that a group of "secret" heroes needed more concealment, thus the full masks. I thought powering them up would be more interesting than "athletic skills." I also threw out their identical builds and tried to mix it up a little. Gold, Silver and Bronze as nods to their Olympic origins (as are the boxing gloves, pole vaulting pole and discus) and a more sordid past type back story and here we are the Covert Cybernetic Champions.

I have a long list of Public Domain characters that I am working through as warm ups for a comic that I'm working on [link] (shameless plug) so stay tuned!

Love it, but i think bronze would work better for the hulking bruiser having been linked to strength since ever. Silver with lightness. perhaps change those two?

This is great! Reminds me, in a weird way, of the Impossibles.

wasn't it also the name of Eric Foreman's group that hung out in Red's basement and partook of certain herbs?
Cool concept.
