no he could and here's why: even if we assume Beerus used only 1% of his power to fingerflick SSJ3 Goku (who's weaker than base Goku in GT), which is highly unlikely by the way, that would still make him at most 100 times stronger than SSJ3 Goku in Z/base Goku in GT, which means Beerus the overhyped Scaredy Cat would struggle to beat even the likes of SSJ2 Goku in GT (SSJ2 is 100X base according to the official multipliers).
