An updated design for the previous Dynamo Gridman Spark. Like the Dynamo Z from PPGZ, this one is also based on Getter Robots, particularly Getter Robo Go, Getter Robo Devolution, and Getter 2's speed-oriented archetype.

Long before Planet Fusion launched a full-scale invasion against Earth, a single Terrafuser was sent to occupy a remote island on Earth as their first attempt at Earth invasion. Dexter's childhood friend, Douglas E. Mordecai III was one of the survivors of the Fusion Island incident. Having been exposed to lethal dose of Fusion Matter, a Hyper Agent known as Gridman Sigma saved his life and the process caused him to transform into Gridman Spark.

Months later, Planet Fusion has finally launched their invasion. Heroes and villains unite against this common threat, but they can only do so much. Having been preparing for a long time, Douglas resurfaced as Gridman Spark, offering help to those in need and become the Earth Defense Force's champion against the threat of Fusions.

After meeting up with his old friend Dexter and his sister Dee Dee, Douglas also came into contact with their new family; Professor Patrick L. Utonium and his daughters, Blossom and Bubbles Utonium, whom are better known as the heroic Powerpuff Girls.

However, something else was still amiss: Buttercup Utonium was not there with her family. The Utoniums had been looking for her for months since they last saw her getting plunged into the ocean by Mojo Jojo's mech. Douglas offered them his help to search for her as they continue their fight against the Fusions.

The tensions from the escalating threat caused the girls to grow more restless as they kept longing for Buttercup's safe return. Blossom had to lead the EDF as their commander while being wracked in guilt for not being able to safe Buttercup as Bubbles doubted herself if she would be able to step up should her sisters are absent. This in turn affected their father as well as both Dexter and Dee Dee.

Douglas quickly caught on their anxiety and offered them help, both with his strength and his counseling. As long as there is no body of Buttercup, then it is safe to assume that she still lived somewhere else, and Douglas promised to help search her to the ends of the world, if he had to. And even then, Douglas understood their longing for their lost dearest sister all too well.

Later on, Douglas would encounter Buttercup in a music band led by Ace of the Gangreen Gang. However, she claimed herself as Belladonna instead of her real name, with Douglas quickly deducing that she was stricken with amnesia. After reporting this to the Utoniums, Douglas decided to take a more subtle approach to help Buttercup regain her memories.

As he was close to succeeding however, a new powerful Fusion was sighted in their area with Blossom and Bubbles dispatched to eliminate it. The Fusions took over Mojo Jojo's mech, giving it a more grotesque appearance and ferocious power that caused a greater damage to the city.

Buttercup was forced to act to save her sisters while in the middle of recovery, thereby straining her from unleashing her true power. The new Fusion mech and its minions were proven too much for them to handle. The girls were heavily bruised and their trauma began to kick in as the Fusion mech fired its beam, forcing the girls to relive the horror that once brought them into despair.

However, Gridman Spark arrived just in time to block the beam with his bare right hand, slowly burning it in the process. Thanks to his enchanced physical prowess, he pushed through the beam, caving his left hand into the Fusion mech and fired his Grid Spark Beam soon after, obliterating the Fusion mech.

Despite their best efforts, the Fusions continued to overwhelm them. As the Powerpuff Girls struggled to get themselves back on their feet, Gridman Spark assured them that he would help the sisters get back home safely, a promise he had always intended to fulfill even at the cost of himself, a tool to ensure their safety.

Upon hearing this, Blossom quickly refuted him, stating that Gridman Spark was just as important as her family while Bubbles refused to leave anyone behind and Buttercup, having regained her memories thanks to Gridman Spark saving the PPG, stated how she and her sisters would be incomplete if they lose him too.

This caused a chain reaction between Gridman Spark's Grid Energy and the Chemical X coursing through the girls' veins. The mixed Grid Energy searched through the history from their minds for the decommissioned Dynamo mech deep in the Utoniums' basement and carried them over to their vicinity, synthesizing both the mech and the girls into new powerful forms.

The result was the PPG gaining the ability to transform into Assist Weapons; the Dyna Fighters Alpha (Blossom), Beta (Bubbles), and Gamma (Buttercup). Each can turn into armored forms akin to that of Gridman Spark's with fighter jet parts merged with their armors and can also summon fighter jets with their respective said parts. The Dyna Fighters can combine with Gridman to form Dynamo Gridman Spark.

Dynamo Gridman Spark is the fastest combination in Gridman Spark's arsenal. His flight speed is faster than when he is in his Armed form. Being the fastest means that evasive maneuvers is his best defense, able to dodge attacks mid-air in an unorthodox manner as if he was not bound by Earth's gravity, something that made it look alien to the girls themselves.

Being confident with his speed, he would often engage in close-quarter combat, armed or unarmed, and use hit-&-run tactics. He also possess a number of projectile weapons ranging from laser beams, hip rail guns and missiles that he would often fire all at once while engaging in close-quarter combat and execute his finisher is called Dynamic Grid Beam.
