Megas XLR is an incredibly powerful prototype battle robot, initially created by the Glorft as a final blow to humanity, the MEGAS XLR (Mechanized Earth Guard Attack System, eXtra Large Robot) is customized and piloted by Coop, an overweight gamer and mechanic.

Coop, along with Kiva and Jamie, use Megas to defend Earth from the Glorft and many other dangers they come across, albeit with over-the-top destructive results.

Megas has near unparalleled strength, being able to lift an object that’s over 500 tons, as well as having the ability to fly. Megas does not show any physical damage, even after years of fighting, which suggests that it has an immensely strong outer body.

Megas also has many weapons at its disposal, such as multiple fire and ballistic based attacks, in addition to a freeze ray, and even nuclear warheads. This makes Megas one of the most powerful weapons in the Cartoon Network Universe.

During the events of the Fusion War, Fuse recognized Megas as a piece of Glorft technology, so he had it trapped in Fusion Matter to make it impossible for Megas to be used against him and Planet Fusion in battle.

After receiving an immense resonation of Grid Energy through its connection with Fusion Gridman, Megas was finally freed from its captivity and reformatted, gaining a new and further enhanced form. The mech is now consisted of two parts: Coop's Mega Roadstar and Jamie's Mega Carrier.

With the addition of Kiva's Mega Soldier, her personal mech that also got reformatted as she returned to the present as a Hyper Agent, they can combine with Fusion Gridman to form the Megas Fusion Gridman.
