Again it seems a while since I drew anything new with my own characters (besides the recent swimwear pics for Mark's ongoing art jam)I decided I need to get back into practice and just drew a few poses, featuring Frederick showing off his agility, Spencer scrunching down on some stilton and Wally brushing down a pair of his Master's freshly-pressed trousers.

Heya Dan, it's been awhile since I gave a good in depth review on your chars and your practices so it's about high time I go ahead and fix that, alright? Here we go!
Vision) When I see these practice images, it really shows how hard you're really trying to practice on these chars, especially getting their frames and body proportions down right, especially when it comes to their varying degree of flexibility. Especially in the case of Frederick on top, where he appears to be doing some sort of "planking" pose. Spencer is scarfing down a nice chunk of cheese, and Wally is in the middle of dusting off a rug or some robe here. Nice job on all of them.
Originality) Well what is there to say really? I think you did a great job on all of them. I really have nothing to say ^^() I think all of your chars came out very well done here.
Technique) it really shows how hard you're pracicing, I think you have a better grip on the lineart with a pencil then on digital tablets. Although one thing I seem to notice that you draw the outside of the chars instead of doing the basic construction "spheres", unless you drew them so lightly it wouldn't show up on the computer, then I gotta give you some props. But the thing I'd strongly recommend is to get some pencil that has a very hard lead so you could sketch wildly and the darker lines would stand out more then the others.
Overall Impact) IM gonna label this a 4 stars out of 5, mainly I see that you're getting close to your artistic goal but I feel there's always going to be room to improve. I'll help you along the way buddy! =3

Indeed, trying to practice some drawing... I Googled a pose for Spencer...
While Wally dusts off some pants he just ironed out.
As for techniques, I actually do start out with faint basic shapes in H4 pencil. It's just that I try to erase the worst of them afterwards and I did a fair bit of cleaning up after I'd scanned them.

Heh, heh... well, Frederick is really balancing on one paw and foot whilst sort of waving...
But yes, Spencer loves his stilton! Danbuster and Frederick can't stand it... stinks of smelly socks (I should know... Dad also loves it, much to mine and Mum's disgust)
Wally: Oh yes, got to keep Master's clothes in good condition... including his underwear. He's a hare of very high standards.

Nice variety of poses here - I imagine with his flexible frame, Frederick is a pro at this sort of thing.
