A reference pic for my younger character, Brantley, the younger son of Pyrrhus.

Very much a typical young fire dragon in his "teen-punk" phase (aged 80), Brantley is a very “act first think later” kind of fellow. He’s a bit of a rebel, who likes to look like “hot stuff” to impress other dragons (in fire dragon vernacular, that’s like saying he’s “cool”). Fortunately, his older brother Ignis can usually reign him in when he gets too wild.

Like all dragons, Brantley has a fancy for shiny things – he claims that gold coins in particular make nice bedding, being a soft metal. Thanks to a careful upbringing, he has been advised that stealing treasure is “rogue dragon” behaviour and morally wrong, and so has learned to find his own gold via a pursuit of geology. He has trained his inborn acute sense of smell over the years and has learned how to literally sniff out the precious mineral deposits in the rocks themselves, which in turn delights his smithy-brother Ignis when he turns up iron ore!
