the point is that its a horse pun. its the mane 6, like a horses mane.

Normally I'm very skeptical about pony humanization (most of them are less then impressive), but you've done a very good job here... and I'm not just writing this coz half the characters here show off much skin
I particularly like AJ, Pinkie and Rainbow's design... overall this feels a tad like "Dead or Alive" or the latter "mortal Kombats" with clevage and stuff 
Question: I can understand Pinkie (balloons don't exactly scream "fighting" ^^'), but why is Rainbow Dash rid of her Cutie Mark in this design? Everypony else got theirs - Twilight on her tie, AJ on the hat, Rarity on teh dress, even Fluttershy as the handle of her sword

i included the lighting bolt on the pocket, but i just didnt feel like adding the cloud ontop of it.
