my mom says that: she once tried to do a similar still life in oil, and two weeks later the grapes were shriveled, and there was mold on the wine. she's really impressed by your work.
i myself am quite impressed. i'm not one for accurate drawings, but this is a very touching piece of work you have done (touching... not exactly emotional, but it's left a mark. this is absolutely phenomenal on my scale of art.)

Thank you so much! That's such a nice compliment! I actually had to use plastic grapes for this still life. It was set up for about four months, so real ones would surely have rotted!

Thanks Samy! A lot of the the darks dulled in this painting. Unfortunately I never varnished it which is why the shadows in the green drapery in particular appear so dull.

This is brilliant! Very enjoyable art. In my opinion it need just very little more contrast. But other than that its is totally awesome!
