Description this was taken by my local pond. i think these two are mating, so thankfully they didn't fly off everytime i came near them.

This was taken at the pond by my house and there are thousands of them at this time of year which is great to sit back and watch

there were hundreds of them flying around us. but most of them wouldn't stay still long enough for me to take a shot.

WOW. This is awesome. I can't believe you were able to capture this without them flying off.

I guess they were preoccupied.

Beautiful shot.

fantastic shot i really like the contrast of the blue and the green, looks really great supurb shot, just a lil distracting with the focus.. but otherwise

ddraid In reply to burntlimbs [2004-05-26 08:50:59 +0000 UTC]

yes i know i think it's a problem with my editing package(gimp). when i down size the image the shot gets slightly burred.

thanks for the comments

Really great shot. Really nice close up detail. Just need the focus to be sorted out. Not 100% sure which bit it has focused on.

But a really amazing shot. And the colour of them is great too.

wow!! Great capture dude!! I didn't realise you were getting into wildlife photography! Superb work. for sure!

Do u still have a prob with the 'soft' effect in Gimp? This seems a little soft focus?

Otherwise, nice!
