Description The aurora could be seen moving over the mountains. The activity lasted for a few hours, and was quite bright.

I love the Aurora Boralis!

This is a beautiful image, but I think it is a bit to big, and the scan isn't so good. I think the quality would be much finer if you would reduce the size.

i'm glad you like it. the picture isn't scanned in, the reason that the image is a little burred is that i had the exposture time set a little to high.
hope to have some more aurora shots later in the year,

Nice shot. I'm happy to see other deviants taking aurora photos I heard it was a nice storm, I missed it

I don't know what camera you took this picture with, film or digital? You might want to try to expose a little shorter to get a sharper look, what ISO are you shooting at? The picture is virtually grainless so you can easily go up.

cheers, i was using a digial camera, a canon powershot. after taking a proper look at these i wish i have shortern the exposeture time. i can't remember the ISO value.
but i'm glad that you like the shot

Great shot - although I would have probably cropped in a panoramic style to remove the road, and reduced the size by 50%.

Great Great shot nevertheless.
