Dude - this is one of the most brilliant UI designs I've seen during my time at dA, and I've seen quite a bit...

I hope you're still working on a Leo theme (facade?) for this. You can expect that when you're done there'll be a whole horde of Windowblinds users - incl. myself - that'll be beegin for permission to port this to Windows...
