If you're an Athiest, you'll never see it very clearly. Thre's alot you'd have to understand about the world if your going to take God seriously. I know a couple of Atheistic friends, and i DO NOT hate them, that wold be foolish.

At one point believing in scientific medicine was blasphemy, but only because the practices of the time weren't really scientific so didn't work anyway: but as soon as it starts to work, they forget about that and start thanking God for this new blessing instead of the people who worked hard to figure it out. Same thing with the world not being at the center of the universe, only I don't think many theists (Christians especially) give thanks for that hard earned knowledge.
Sorry, needed to rant. I am surrounded by people with religious graffiti on their brains.

I understand. I recently heard someone saying, and I kid you not, "Curiosity is from Satan!"...and they were being serious.
And why do they think sexuality is a choice? It's really not. I can't really choose to want a woman instead of a man. It's not gonna work out, same as any ol' guy is going to have a reeeaally hard time with his boyfriend if he isn't homosexual. It's just the way it is.

They truly think their way is the best. I was speaking with a teacher not too long ago, and she said that other religions didn't feel the "inner change" of "salvation" like they do. I asked her how she knew. She told me "Because I just don't think they do, since their gods aren't real."

Um, I'm pretty sure this poem doesn't have to be funny to portray a solid point. It's incredible on its own. I highly commend you for writing something like this. I, like you, am one of the ONLY atheist is a very overwhelmingly christian town. That's PA for you xp lol. I wish there were a billion more people out there like you

First of all, spell Atheist correctly. That's the one thing that bugs me the most. Secondly, all of this is just plain wrong in the eyes of any well-versed religious person. God, in their eyes, doesn't give us any of this. So, if you are going to bad-mouth god, please, be a bit more respectful to your fellow Atheist and do it intellectually.

Well, the first part is just me being a grammar freak. Second part, though, doesn't mean whether you're speaking religiously or not. You're bad-mouthing something and you put the opposing view as your own.
