And we're back from SPX!I love Bioware for including romances so you can get to know your companion better. They just aren't very good at picking the characters that I want for those romances...
And really, in Dragon Age 2 you should have been able to romance someone who wasn't in your party, as you can't even talk to the companions whenever you want to anyway (DA: O system back, please! D: )

It was a bit more of a hassle to get to them, yes, but in exchange it felt like they had their own lives going on. Though it was a pain to make your way to some of them :I

I know right it seriously bugs me that they always pick the wrong ones to romance and you don't even get to interact with them very well at all,only a few I actualy liked in the Bioware games still needed more action.
Love the last panels the only one she can get anything with is Isabella(whos totally hot and more a man then any of them lol)

I always fall for the unromancable characters, and then sit and pine for them for the rest of the game, while settling for someone else. Every time T_T

i TOTALY agree that they should've let you romance the Arishoc since 1. in the First game they let you with Sten (also Qunari), 2. your practicly friends with him when you have to kill him (i actualy cried when i had to kill him D

The only companion i ever Wanted to romance was the Only one that you cant (siblings dont count lol) its pretty lame off Bioware to take our hopes.. and crush them under the Arishoks boots TT_TT lol

I have this problem all the time - Loghain, Cullen, Arishok, Sarevok (before, well... the spoily stuff), Edwin, Varric, Aveline, Joker, Zaeed, Grand Moff Kilran, general Hesker... Bioware love to create appealing characters and then go 'oh, no, romance the boring or crazy ones over there, shoo shoo'. That being said, I do love some of them to bits and pieces, it's just... they are so few in comparison XD

I knowww, and when i play a Circle Mage on my pc (i have the cullen romance or w/e its called mod) i get a kiss.. and thats all.. so sad really. I mean the only time i would want Anders is in Awakening, and u get no romance there (unless your a FemWarden Cousland, you get the kiss with Alistair at the Begining of the dlc) cause he ISNT a crazy loon who blows sht up. plus he looks and sounds cuter.. lol.

Awakening for my male Cousland was... interesting. Bitching with the wife and practically giving father-in-law Loghain the puppy eyes and begging him to stay. It pleased me that I could play him that way though XD

It gets hilarious if you play a giant ass the whole time, because Alistair is all "I had no idea you were such a viper" or something to that effect when you declare that he's getting screwed over. Probably didn't help that he was in his underwear XD

Because, I mean...blood magic is perfectly fine for Hawke or the Warden. You're pretty much assured you won't go on a crazy murderous rampage or completely ruin your life and the lives of everyone around you. ...Unlike more or less every mage in Dragon Age 2 except maybe Feynriel and Bethany. XD
