Hey all!
Look! Look! It's a new DEAD DAYS! Part 7! The "4-Bit Fanatic" series! Look!

I don't know about you, but I've always hated going to an arcade and playing a game (damn well, I might add) just to see the "high scores" screen after you die and realize that you, in fact, suck ass at the game you just played. Oooh, I'm sure you were pretty satisfied with your 23,000 points until you saw that you can't even break the top 3 without scoring 700,000 points. "BUT I BET THE GAME TWICE WITH THE SAME QUARTER!!" you exclaim, but it's no good. The feelings of inadequacy have already begun to take hold.

I don't think I ever held a high score record on an arcade machine. Except maybe for the places that unplug their machines every night, thus resetting all the scores. I loved those places. I'd get there right as they were opening to briefly hold the high score with 70,300 points just to see the VERY NEXT PERSON knock me out of the spot with half a million.

So what I'm getting at here is that I know where our boy is coming from. He's not gonna let some rotten commie beat him at, literally, his own game. You may think your toughshit now Vlad, but he's comin' for ya! WOOT!

Anyhoo, thanks for reading (both the comic and that long diatribe about "points") and stay tuned for part 8 where NEXT GEN joins the fray.
