Description
this is the front cover for a british goa band i'mworking at the moment. the cover itself still needs
to be finished, but at least the frontcover seems to
be done for good.
as you might notice, this one is a redone version
of ddr0058 - hence the name. i'm pretty happy with
sidewinder II, its so much more sharper and vicious than the first one.
the character itself is 100% pure photoshop, the
background consists of retouched photos.

Hey, part one of that picture was one of my previous wallpapers (i mentioned that in another comment). I like this one too, but my favorite one is still part one, maybe because of the coloring.

Reminds me of the Exca Dark fella'. Great work with this, I believe I've seen the predecessor to it, although I don't recall it looking this spectacular.
The tunnel effect looks great, and the mechanical feel to the little guy in the middle is a great effect to the whole piece.
As a cover, this should attract quite a few non-fans as well, eh?
Will this be the band's official "mascot", or is this just for the one album?
I want to see more!

the fluorescent striplights add a great feel and a great opportunity to do some nice things with the lighting. brilliant work as always.

Ah! Deaddreamer at his finest! This is spectacular. Indeed, it is a lot sharper and meaner-looking than 058, but that's what people love about your work. The tunnel in the background is also very well done. I spent three or four minute just staring at that, heheh. The shading on the blades is, succinctly put, great, even especially awesome near to the head of the figure, where it becomes much more intricate.
I love it. Fav in an instant.

That is very well done for pure photoshop, it has some very sharp looking weapons there. nice colouring and shading work.
