this one took a while, i started this thing more thenfive months ago and worked on it for a while, then left
it again. i think that this worked rather well for this
image, its hard for me to have patience in general, but
maybe i am getting older and things don't need to be
finished in one day anymore.

Love the colour tones. The direction of the background really draws your eye to the central figure, which demonstrates a good use of shadow and light. Gives the sense of an ancient place, and I love the contrast betweens the symbols of two different religions. This was brilliantly done.

I agree with DEFMUNKY....between the blue shading and the lotus position she does resemble a post-modern Shiva.....but with the gothic style background and the iron-work on her headdress(?) and the struts behind her which look like remnants of some ancient technology....you make it temporaly your own....belonging to no time....but I love the title too...

damn ddr. this rocks. it's like a new age shiva, implied by the name. definately superb blending and texturing. not to be nit picky, but u might want to smooth out that left hand a bit (just to point it out to u). very cool head dress. the lock on the crotch reminds me of giger's "passage" series. and damn, i love cool colored pieces. excellent work man, kudos.
