another cd cover, this time ebm again.cd won't have the exact same image, since they wanted the cyborgs more humanlike.
i dig them more like this, but i understand the changes they wanted since its about
how the human race extincts itself.
took me a while to figure out what to do, but i really like the endresult.
figures are from poser, cyborg texture from andygraph, heavily modified
in photoshop.
and yes, there are still some flaws here and there.
background is a photo i did here in graz.

Really nice, as said, it reminds me as well of H.R. Giger
One thing I see as "flaw" (though at this level of creation it really is a mean word) is that the figures do not really blend with the background..
Btw, I love the background... it is very very VERY nice...

...and although these may not all seem too human-like, they can still be distinguished as humans...weird. i just wonder a lot why people hire artists and ask them to come up with some sort of an idea they have, but go with whatever the artist thinks looks best, and then they get all bent outta shape when you actually do...psshh.

very awesome texture work on the models. THe message is clear too, but I think they have a point, as you said, about them not resembling humans enough.
I know from my own client-work experience that it's sometimes very hard not to get carried away by the artistic aspect, but instead to keep the vision of the client in mind.

wow, immature as it may sound. this is awesome. i've never much cared for poser pictures, since so often they are just modeled, then posted as art( don't get me wrong, for some it is.) but this... this is awesome.
