shiva is the first artprint that i'm doing. the picture wasalready finished quite a while ago, in the end of 2OOO. due
to financial and personal problems it got delayed until this
very day.
i could tell you something about the creationprocess - it was
a little painstaking. i decided to go for the highest resolution
my computer would take - which was about 4000x4000 pixels and
started working on the thing. after a while i settled at
5657x4000 pixels. saving the image took about seven minutes,
and the unflattened image is still about 34 megs.
the image itself is a mixture of pure photoshop elements, photos
from my digicam and 3d stuff. one problem that i had and still
have is to judge the image. i love to stare at it for ages, but
on the other hand i see lots of mistakes and unprecisions.
nonetheless, i love the image for the overall vibe, which is all
in all quite positive. right now i hope that i can continue to do
that kind of stuff - if this print works out i have a decent idea
for a bigger series that begs for realisation for quite a while.

I was just reading whta Dygel said up above this post and I totally agree.. The piece seems more realistic and just drop dead gorgeous.. I'd definetly love a poster of this framed somewhere in my bedroom.. I'll look further more into the details of obtaining one..

This one is really fantastic. I really love what you've done with the digital photography; what I see in the background there really works well. The only thing that strikes me as odd is the background's gradient; it's very strained-looking. I know, that's not the most effective way of describing that, but I'm at a loss for a better one... =/
I love the textures used here. It works really well with Shiva herself. Great, great work.

This is so well worth the time and effort, there are so many things to see..She looks like a geisha girl crossed with a punk...the transparency of the body is brilliant and such a nice background....The clock looks odd mirrored rather than showing the true numbers.... I am astounded at all this though, superb work. +fav.
