tanz debil was a real quicky. basically its a photorape with some 3d elements, maybe a bit on the rough side but i dig the general feeling that the picture produces.Related content

she has a freakishly happy expression on her face that is quite creepy....but very well done...she also has a certain glossed over appearance that is quite different as well...a freaky piece, but well done...

well I like it, It's not real finished like you said, but if the fellings there (which it is) it's a success.
Never understood the amount of fuss over your work, but it must piss you off sometimes when people get overly critical over something which was just a quick exercise.

Right on!! This is as close to CG bliss as you can get!! Everything is in harmony; the colors, the textures, the line, and the face is amazing! Having it tilted towards the viewer is rather effective in making the guy look like some gaint bird monster with the feathers and the wing things.
Im defintely feeling the vibe in the details here too; like the colar. Its really adds definition to the face instead of having it hover over some big thing of blackness.
This is really amazing stuff, as Im sure you know . Please come check out my gallery sometime if its not too much to ask.

I'd have to agree with altermind, compared to all you other work this is a piece of shit.
The blending around the top of the head is a bit dodge it looks like a 3D object moving into a 2d plane and the eyelets of the shoelaces are slightly pixelated giving it that cut and paste look.
Sorry but you one heaps heaps better what happened?? All your other work is brilliant

ill give some reasons.... very blurry and kinda half assed looking... i like crisp clean... this is crisp then blurry on some parts... very half ass job on the eyes.. i was looking for you to break new ground like all your other pieces... kinda dissapointing. ill still look out for your new stuff.... but i have seen so many more pieces that are worthy of DD and an "old friend" gets it... its just like small town politics some times....

I don't think this lives up to your previous skill level. I know you said it was a quicky, but I just don't get 'that buzz' with this.
Every detail seems to be just flipped symetrically, maybe change that.
IMO a DD as a welcome back present ...sorry dude.

I saw this on your site yesterday. I like it. It shows off a great knowledge of color use.
The only thing that bugged me about this, is the top head is too blurred. It looks like you just took a soft eraser and wiped out the hair in the original photo. I guess I'm just use to you taking more time to integrate your manips into the skin.
Anyone that doesn't know who this guy is, go check his website and study his work.
