Ugh... I was totally out of ideas for a title...Anyway, I just had to use these models now that Seifer and Squall are available. That completes the entire VIII cast!
Plus, I also like this pairing - so naturally, once I could finally do some QuistisxSeifer pics...I couldn't pass it up.

Yeah, I love the idea! Quistis is the only one whom could handle Seifer -- I think, anyway. At least the Seifer we're introduced to in the game. Apparently, he was different when dating Rinoa.
Still, it's also fun because Quistis doesn't have anyone special in her life by the end of the game, while all of her friends have gotten with somebody. She and Seifer are a perfect balance.

I heard someplace that Quistis and Seifer were supposed to be a kind of mirror romance pair to Squall and Rinoa, which perfectly delights me on so many levels.
Yeah, Seifer and Rinoa dating is... Interesting. There are honestly so many ways that could go. Was he putting on a front because he had the opportunity to completely put on a failure-free face for someone who didn't know better? Was he actually really nice and awesome? Was he horrible? He couldn't have been too bad because she thinks of him fondly later.

I've never heard that, but it would have been a great concept in the game! Oh well...
lol. I know, right? It's been said that the right person can bring out the good in anyone, but...we're never given another side of Seifer, except for the brief moment on Disc 3 where he seems to regret what he is about to do just before handing Rinoa over to Adel.

Yeah, we get these implications of what he was rather than some more solid confirmations, which I personally think would have made his fall more compelling and tragic. If I got to remake the game, I'd put some sidequests in the front where you could see what the DC is doing and either help out to follow the rules or make a huge pest of yourself just because. Ideally we'd also get more Squall/Seifer interaction and see how they orbit each other.

That would be really cool, yeah! Side-quests were quite lacking in VIII. Really wish they had done small missions that you could take on, outside the main quest, to really get a feel of their lives as SeeD.

lol. I can understand that perspective. I actually like(d) Seifer; no one in VIII really annoys me, which is a very rare thing, especially in Final Fantasy. It's one reason I love the game so much.
