         Chapter 5: Closer

         I stayed over on Angel Island for a couple more days, and I never thought Knuckles could open up to me before. I now know how he feels toward things and all. I had fun on Angel Island, I'll be visiting him more often than I thought. Now I'm walking over to Cream's house to help Vanilla out with some chores that she has to take care of. Knuckles wasn't kidding when he said Sonic and Sally Acorn had gotten back together. I saw them sitting on a hill, Sally hasn't changed at all. She was still the same, and Sonic looked strange. It looked like he wasn't paying attention to her. He was staring at the sky while she was talking to him. Hopefully she won't clobber him when she finally notices he's not listening. She almost saw me but I started walking again before she could.

    Over at Cream's house what Vanilla needed to do were harder than I thought. But Cream and Cheese also helped which made it easier. I stayed for awhile and had to go back home. I needed to change and go shopping, I had so much to do since I stayed on Angel Island too long. I already got home and changed into a cute outfit that I have. My shirt for it was red, strapless and also had sparkles on it, my skirt was black but it looked cute, and I had black boots that matched. Once I was ready I headed out with my purse by my side. The sun was still out so I could still go shopping. I headed to one of the most popluar stores there were. I didn't buy much but some jewery there. I went to the next one and choose a cute top that said Diva on it. It was black and the writing was gold. I also bought dark jeans and skater shoes. I tried one outfit on and it looked great. I already bought it and by the look of it I made the right choice.

   One employe said I can change out of my other outfit and put on the one I just bought on. When I walked out of the store, a lot of Mobian's looked at me, which felt uncomfortable. The last thing I did was get a drink. I got a can of soda and drank it on the way home.

    I was a block away from my house and I finished the soda and threw the can away. When I was about to turn the corner I saw Sonic. I stopped and by his look it looked like he wanted to talk to me. That wasn't a good sign. Then he would question why I was with Knuckles. I went another way and I made it into my house without him knowing. I went upstairs and put my new clothes away, and changed into my pajama's. I stayed in my room and looked out the window. Sonic wasn't at the corner anymore, and the sun had finally setted. I glanced at Angel Island, I could see the Master Emerald from here. It was shining brightly, and I saw a red figure next to it and smiled. When the moon was out I went to bed, thinking about someone that I got to know.
