Inspired to draw with [link] I played it on a loop for a good few hours and sums up the message of this work.

Adena transforming into her Daevic Crestlich form

300th Deviation. Let's make it worth it, shall we? Adena Krieger being forcibly tapped into a Daevic Crestlich form, a completely unique type of Crestlich form only she possesses. It is completely malevolent and if her Crestlich Blade is ever damaged, she will unwillingly become this form and it is mostly irreversible. The amount of damage constitutes to the speed of the transformation; so if it ever get's damaged slightly it can be repaired fast enough before any major damage is done.

The Daeva of Armour; the Goddess Krieger, is essentially that, a goddess (As the other thirteen Daevas are Gods and Goddesses). But under the allignment of Blood, the creator of Hex, it is a chaotic evil being. The reason Adena didn't die the day when the Fennec guild tried to make her life end, was for this reason.

This image presents a possible future; if someone, or something, could ever disarm Adena and think that trying to break her impervious blade would result in her defeat... would be mostly right. However, it would be the end of their own life as well, as the Daeva of Armour is born and quickly ends their life.

(Believe it or not, this drawing has some logic behind it. If you don't know about my world/universe, or want to know more about the purpose of this drawing and the story behind it, read on.

Crestliches are dragon-like bird monsters that were naturally created when Lord Blood, the Sovereign of the world, gave birth to the Hex. Hex is a tainted substance that comes in the form of a seed or gas, that can cause otherworldly negative effects to plants, people, creatures, even stuff of in-animacy; transforming them into terrible monsters. They are notably recognised for their obsidian black, natural armour; a carapace several million times more durable that a crabs shell.

Because of this, their armour was initially seen as something people should salvage. It was a convincing tool of war to protect their soldiers from from nearly every type of attack. The first humans who attempted to attack one of these creatures were immediately torn down and died.

There was one lucky soul who managed to retrieve a small shred of armour from the bird by channelling a ludicrous amount of spellforce into a single attack. He made it out alive, but this was shortlived when the corrupted shard of Crestlich armour in his possession completely consumed him, and caused him to become an overturned.

Adena Krieger:- Light Warrior
BIO:-

Adena is a twenty seven year old woman with a deadly past of misfortune. She was born into a family out the way of the large city, until a seed of Hex was planted outside her home, resulting in her father becoming a monster and killing her mother in front of her eyes. This moment both scarred and desensitized her, on top of being forced into the nearby town as a street urchin for a short time.

The town was riddled with danger, men killed each other without second thought in the lower areas. A man eventually adopts her in and she's raised by him like a second father, but she never truely accepts him. She learns about the three guilds, Sigil, Fennec and Flame. The Fennec Guild, in particular is an assassins guild, and she runs into trouble between them concerning her gender. She picks up a sword, and fights them one on three, defeating them outright and embarrassing them in front of the other members.

Most of her childhood was survived by doing monster hunting in the guild via simple requests, and then at her teenage years this interest in fighting caused her to join the Crusaders.

She was very anti-social at this point, for many reasons, including that the Crusaders was a male-centric organisation for the 'dirty work'. However, she is introduced to Hertz Minton, a joyous and carefree character, a complete opposite personality to her neutral and reserved, regal character. At first she is annoyed by him, trying to avoid him, but eventually, they're forced onto the same missions together (On purpose, by the lecturers in an effort to tease her) However, eventually she gets used to his annoying nature, and realizes he has a friendly, caring one underneath. This is the first person besides her parents she truly opens up to.

However, the Fennec Guild catch wind of Adena's exploits, and the members that were shown up those years ago go to seek revenge on not just her, but the entire troop of trainee Crusaders. To pass they exam, they had to go out to a corrupted 'Hex' field and slay monsters, however, the overseerer is of the Fennec Guild, and pushes them too deep into the Hexed land.

As contacts begin to get lost as the students are slowly killed off one by one, Adena and Hertz encounter the greatest demon in the area and one few people had ever seen. The Crestlich. Knowing it's impossible to beat, they attempt to run, but are outpaced by the quick and mighty creature. After much stalemate, Hertz and Adena are gravely injured, but Hertz manages to mount upon it's neck and impale it with his sword, managing to some how run his blade through the armour. The blade shines, before the Crestlich throws off Hertz to the ground, effectively leaving him for dead. As Adena reaches out to his dying body, he offers her his sword, which transforms from silver to black in his death, now resembling something similar to the Crestlich monster in design.

What goes on beyond this remains unrecorded, but when Adena awoke to find she was alive. However, she found herself in a facility, being looked down upon by a small flying cat.

"I came to rescue you as part of a quest. Don't look at me like that."

The cat could speak. Its name was Zephyr. Adena realised at this point it was no longer a dream. She of interest to someone in this facility, and it wasn't for good intentions. Across the room, she sees a giant armoured demon of black and blue, being kept in a large vial. She realises, she too, was also subject to this kind of observation.

Zephyr mentions 'Darcia' and moves on.

Despite all this, Adena's mind is still in disarray. He mind grows weaker and weaker even though she had just awoke. As she moves out of the room, into a new one, her energy begins to trickle back.

In the center of the room is a black sword. The sword of the Crestlich Blade. Realising this was once Hertz's sword, but transformed, she grabs it and it remains in her possession.

AWAKENING
Adena after her awakening is mostly the same person that loved Hertz before his untimely death. However, the corruption of the Hex caused her hair to turn from brown to white, and she has the ability to summon a black suit of armour instantly on her body to protect herself from attacks. However, she can only make use of this skill while she has the Crestlich blade in hand. The frightening reality is that, this armour is very close to the appearance of a Crestlich, but it is simplified, and more fitting to a human character.
