Think that’s Peach and Daisy? Look again. If you look closely, those are actually two girls cosplaying as the princesses. More on that later.Mistakes: Lineart issues as usual (I gotta find a way to smoothen those suckers better). I might have messed up the legs, but I think it’s fine.
Anyway, this was a request for for winning the First to Comment Race. He requested that I draw his characters Lorelei and Irene cosplaying as Peach and Daisy. Here are the request details:
Can you draw my character Lorelei [link] [link] [link] cosplaying as Daisy, and my other character Irene [link] [link] [link] cosplaying as Peach?
At first, I drew Lorelei in an actual dress and I took as the design for the request. Then when it came time for Irene, I drew her in Peach’s dress in the sports titles. Then looking at the two together, I realized that Lorelei would actually look out of place. So I redrew her in Daisy’s sports outfit (what you see right now). With that background, man I went all out with it. I went in my own gallery and took silhouettes of almost every single character I drew, both and original and fanart, and made tem the crowd. The set behind them I took from some site (forgot the link) and used the PP7 program to convert it to what you see now. This pretty much tested my skills not only as an artist, but as a rising Graphic Designer.

The cosplayers themselves are MDetector5's OCs (he's banned now). They are cosplaying as Peach and Daisy.

Your first line in your artists comments holds a lot of truth; the first moment I saw this, I seriously though "Peach and Daisy?" but only noticed shortly after that their hair was different. 50 Points for craftily gaining my attention to you, good sir. 
First off, I must say that you've really put in some good design here with a serious attempt at portraying these characters in a true cosplay manner; you really do get the tricky feeling of believing what you see, but also realising the reality of what you are seeing at the same time (the point of cosplay in a nutshell 
Colouring is again always top notch, with some excellent lighting effects, especially on the skin, badges and outfits. It also has a much smoother feel to it than past works as well. The background silhouettes idea is quite a neat idea as well, and unless you pay a lot of attention to it, blends in with the mood of the piece well.
In terms of flaws, I can't really find that many at all, other than slight lineart blurriness on the golf club, and Irene's fingers looking more like triangles. :\

GOTCHA!! This would've worked way better as an April Fool's Joke.
Thanks for the critique man, as always it is much appreciated. My comp froze twice because of that background, but it all paid off in the end.

hee hee yeah, at first i though it was princess peach and daisy, but then the eye color said differ, heh. that is so cute, i can't wait to go to my first convention, awesome job here!~

I want so badly to go to a convention too. I'm takin' my sis' idea and cosplaying as a Sim from The Sims. All I gotta do where my regular clothes and have some green diamond thing over my head. That's where all the effort will go to lol.

This is very cute! And I really LOVE this!
I like how Lorelei looks so cute as Daisy, and Irene looks looks quite sexy as Peach as well! The colors are pretty nice, too, and I love the poses! Very nice work, and I thank you for this!
