Merle is becoming a current favourite subject of mine. I've been tossing some ideas around in my head about what she should be like. I decided that she's the real quiet type, loves books, and is a history buff. But she has a great sense of fashion like her mama ;-; I want her shoes.Merle and ArtΒ©DR

Nothing's ever perfect hun, if you think that, then your sadly mistaken. Everything can be improved. Especially in art. I gave her my opinion based on my own sense of style, which of course, she probably doesn't share. I didn't say it was a bad drawing or that I didn't like it. So down sparky *pat*

I agree that there will always be room for improvement in everything, but to say that one's own sense of style in an "improvement" over another's is like comparing apples to oranges :3

I would appreciate it if you would not treat me like a dog. This "down, sparky *pat pat*" and "guard dog" business is uncalled for (especially since I have not been rude to you).
Forgive me for being blunt, but all I've ever seen you do in your comments on Evee's work is critique. "She's ungodly skinny", "I would change her hair", etc. etc. She has that 'critique discouraged' sign there for a reason, ya know? If you really are her friend, you should be kind enough to take her past experiences and her wishes into consideration. Have you ever stopped to think that making some of her characters skinny is a part of her style? The fact that she hasn't changed this aspect of her drawings just for you should be your first clue.
