Raege is the only female Commissar I would have respect for. She has the wit to survive just about everything, the bravado to laugh in the face of death, and never taking cheap shots at her troops. She makes damn sure her men know that if they respect her, the Imperium and the Emperor, they get to live. She's also one to make an example without killing someone.
Although her original reason for becoming a Commissar (or beginning the training) was BECAUSE she killed people.. but I'm willing to bet Commissars are tested on their ability to kill without feeling remorse.

No, no, no. Raege should not meet Ciaphas Cain. They would despise each other - Cain for thinking Conrad is an Emperor-bothering psycho, and Conrad for thinking Cain is a dirty coward. Shots would be fired, and we'd have loyalists fighting each other - the Vahallan 597th against the Ragged Edges. That would be bad.

only problem with this pic is you gave her a katana by the looks of it. That's a space weeaboo weapon for Tau or Eldar and ain't worth a squat in the tabletop. Needs Moar Powerfist. Other than that perfection incarnate, emperor would be proud.

They are the best. I really respect Dan Abnett and Sandy Mitchell for showing how the ordinary soldiers in the Imperium live. Without them, it would be pretty much only be SPEHSS MEHREENS that would get all the credit.
