Faster than a speeding bullet!Β More powerful than a locomotive!Β And two booster locomotives!Β And an R.P.O.!Β And three baggage cars!Β And two pullmans, a diner, a snackbar/lounge car, three coaches, and a round-end observation car!Β (Remember, "smoking cars are in the rear," which we learned just before finding out where Lex's lair was, back in '77 in 'Superman:The Movie' ...!!)Β Seriously, catching a train is hard work, even for Superman!Β Very well done -- great work!

Something I admire about your work is the classic feel they give off. I love comic art from the 60's and 70's and your style reminds me of that. Marvelous stuff.

Thanks, Zac. Sometimes I feel like I just wasn't made for these times. Your stuff has a similar 60s/70s vibe, as well. I see a lot of Nick Cardy with dashes of Colan, Fradon, Robbins, and Johnny Craig. Don't know if any of those guys and gal influenced ya. It's a shame there's not more of a market available for folks with our sensibilities.

Thanks, Dean. I completely agree. The market today emphasizes less about storytelling and characters (an emphasis seen in spades in your work) and more about producing slick eye candy. I could easily see you drawing EC Comics, House of Mystery, or The Brave and the Bold back in the day.
I admire the fact that you're doing your own thing and not warping your style to fit into whatever's cool today. It's something I try to do in my own work.
