It almost frightens me how precise the year is... scientists talk of a sudden geomagnetic pole shift, or perhaps with the solar maximum beginning in 2012... Im not sure.. maby its all just a myth.

One meteorite can change the face of the earth. One volcanic eruption/earthquake on the Canary Islands might destroy most of Europe & the American eastcoast. The ice in Greenland might melt even faster. The molten polar ice might invoke a new iceage. The sun might have a hick-up...

Yes, I have heard that this "end of the world as we know it" could be percieved in a very unevolved way, this certainly could be a great enlightenment or awakening, somthing I believe our species is in desperate need of.

In a technical sense, If we were to expirience such an "enlightenment", It would have to mean the end of the world "as we know it.." (Meaning the end of nuclear weaponry and proliferation, ecological suicide, economical inbalance, emotional turmoil,and the terribly prevalent concept of seperation that divides us..)yeah your probally right, they wont be very accepting of that lol ^^
