I love Fullmetal Alchemist. I lovelovelove it. I love the men, the metal, the blindness of Roy villains. I love the symbolism in the villains. Like Lust can lengthen her appendages at will. Envy can change his look if he sees another he's jealous of. Envy is my favourite. He's so sexy in all his forms. But this form is my favourite. I want a green pet foetus. This is my favourite bit. I'm a mangaverse follower, and eyeballed this sketch straight from Chapter 95-96. Envy's death was so satisfying. I don't like Roy [as he killed Lust, and was thought to have killed Ross, and he's a pedophile in fandom], and Envy's death was so spiting, oh god it made my insides tingle. Notice I'm using green bullets instead of orange ones because it's Envy. And the sin Envy is green. Wooo.It's 12.14AM. I had my please-kill-me day yesterday with school, then work, then aikido. I have to be up and rolling in less than 7 hours. I'll leave early and buy myself some LowCarb Monster. Because I'm manly like that.

But yes, I agree. Reading all that gave better feelings on the inside than endorphyns do. I saved almost the entire bloody chapter. It was just so great.

I'm...not a fan of Roy. I mean, he has his hilarious moments, b-but he killed Lust, and I thought he'd killed Ross for aaggeess...and all that hatred that brooded just hasn't left. Plus, he's a slight pedo in fandom. *ahem*

not sure what you're talking about with the chapters there (but i tend to forget things a lot)
i saved most of those chapters too. best part was when envy still thought they killed ross and he's like "oh yay! you torched an innocent woman!" and he's all smiling.
in order of my fave homunculi: envy, 1st greed (dunno why i like that guy 
and i like roy. i just like him as a guy. he's funny yes, but he has this way of doing things that takes the army into a whole new level. like how he can make flower stands into secret meetings with a normal conversation, or act like he's talking to girls when he's really discussing top secret info... i just like his style and he falls into it so fast and easy. and yes, he killed lust, but she paralyzed my fourth fave central army officer so, -10 points on that aspect.
besides, i knew roy couldn't have killed ross. i thought it showed in both series' and in the manga how he managed to get her out of jail...

I must admit, I love the buying-flowers-secret-meetings thing. That was awesome. But... mmmm. I honestly don't have a decent reason for hating him. I just do. Same with King Bradley. Hate him, too, but no real reason for it. ._.

oh i hate king bradley too for no apparent reason. but i may have to do with when maes died and elisia was crying and he was like "i wanted to stab her because she wouldn't shut up. the stupid wailing child. every time she screamed, i felt a cringe of anger go through me" i was like, you bastard, shut up and die 
love/hate when al found his body. he's all like "my body!" 
yeah, my fourth fave army officer is Jean Havoc. ranking: maes hughes, riza hawkeye, olivier armstrong, jean havoc, roy mustang
if we're rating regular chars then it would have to be: edward, winry, alphonse, hohenheim, scar, ling, mai, others...
one of the best secret conversation scenes is when riza gives him all the names of the people in the army for no apparent reason and he automatically picks up that it's code. i was like yush!

God, I thought his body was so pretty! All boney, with whispy hair and overgrown fingernails. Makes me all fuzzy on the inside.
Mine would be... Maes, Armstrong, Ross, Riza, Jean, Olivia, and... I can't think of any others at this point in time.
And...hm. I like Pinako aswell. She's awesome. I've had a mind blank, and can't think of anything else. Hn.

when i first watched the show and saw the original episode with nina, i wanted to f-ck shou tucker up so bad. you have no idea how ghetto i went pretty much cussing at my computer screen because of that. as soon as ed opened the door, i go "that chimaera looks a lot like alexander" and then i was like "oh no he didn't" and then i went "OH HELL NO!" and then as i cried i cussed shou tucker out and rooted for ed to bust his ass UP.
on maes' burial episode, i can get past it until elisia starts tugging at gracia's dress and starts asking why they're burying maes because he has to go to work. that's when i start bawling because it's so like a child to not understand but understand at the same time. it tears at my heart 
i don't like armstrong. his mustache makes me laugh but i just don't like him. now his sister is awesome
i like pinako... i totally forgot Izumi! I love his teacher. i love when she's teaching the boys alchemy when they're young and she beats them up while she's reading "the cookbook". her fighting is so fluid...
and i never got what those tattoos were on her back. they puzzled me....

Damn, the beginning of the series was so tragic. Well, half hilarious and half tragic. And the hilarious stuff made the tragic stuff even more tragic.
Lets think, I got upset during the how-Ed-fucked-everything-up flashback, Nina-chimaera episode, Maes funeral [with Roy crying, and Elisia's innocence etc.], when Lust died, when Lan Fan became an amputee. Can't think of any others at the moment. Damn them mind blanks.

Ahh... her dad was a fire alchemist, and put the secrets on her back. He trusted her to see if Roy was fit to know the secrets or not. I think.

the whole story is half tragic, half crazy-hilarious. that's what makes it so great. it's like an equal amount. what i like is that when it's serious, it's serious and when it's funny, it's funny. and if it happens to be funny in a serious moment, it's something happen chance; it's not like they threw it in there soully for the purpose of comic relief.
i love izumi's husband. such a big guy and yet totally devoted to her. there was a part in the manga when some guy looked at her and he's like "don't look at mah woman!" as he beats him up and izumi's like "oh hunny you'll embarrass me" . haha. i also like how she'll throw up blood and is like "I'm alright."
so, he entrusted riza with the secret and she would show roy when she thought he was ready? what was the secret? was it just how to become a flame alchemist or something?

Just started aikido, but I got up to brown belt first black tab in karate. Then I quit to study for exams. Or because I was lazy. Either of them.

Yea it's not as well know as the Japanese and Chinese MAs. It's a mix of Korean styles and tons of fun. Animal Forms, Weapons, Acrobatics, Joint Locks/Throws/Strikes, Belt Forms, etc. There are some cool youtube videos on it, like the matrix kick (I think its a 10 ft upside down flip kick board break, something like that) and the thumb break.
I was thinking about taking Aikido, but didn't fit into my schedule. After my black though I wanna take Jeet Kun Do or Shaolin and Ninjutsu. Then I'll be hardcore too, lol.

A clumsy ninja, I smell an anime in the making, lol. They are really freakin hardcore though. A friend that takes it was telling me about some of the things you have to do to test up and they are straight out of the movie, like super stealth stuff and defense against weapon techniques, thrown or swung. That's why I'm workin my way up to it. But if you just want to learn a few Ninjitsu techniques/styles, there is Chosen Ninja on Youtube. He has like hundreds of instructional videos for the budget ninja who can't get into a class.
