Description
A simple guide to setting group submission limits, made because I couldn't find a good one that covered JUST that in the Tutorials > Deviantart related > Groups tutorials area. Or at least, I couldn't find it easily enough for my sleepy mind.Made in MS Paint and Opera 12, using my group, . Sorry it's ugly.

Very useful. This was the most aggravating thing to figure out when I first started moderating groups.

I was very specific to set limits when I set up #LiteraryFanFiction because I hated getting a bunch of messages all at once from one deviant, in one group. I couldn't read everything and usually mass deleted them. I think deviations have a better chance of being seen, if they're spaced out.

I agree. I think an ideal number of deviations per visit is about 6-9 per group. However, really low submission limits are frustrating as a member, especially if you're the type (like I am) to submit others' work. It's hard to strike a balance.

It would be nice (and maybe there is), if there was an option for different submission limits for submitting your own work and work of others. It really is hard to strike that balance.

I would do the same thing. Show me somebody new. If I only wanted to see one guy, I would watch him.

It's the truth though.If you wanted to see this one guy forty times, you would have watched him, not the group. Course, some of the groups I watch would be dead if not oftr one person posting to it all the time....
