This is my variant cover for 28 Days Later Issue 12.

If you click here [link] then you can see a post on my blog about how i came up with the image, how it didn't go according to plan, but it came together in the end.

Drawing all that blood was a lot of fun. I'm really getting into my mark-making these days.

As i say on the blog post, i was surprised editorial let me go with a cover so bold and minimalistic. It seems a lot of editors want you to fill a cover with characters and lots of colour. It's my hope that this cover will really stand out in the shelf when it comes out.
