How can I get my hands on the original vectors. I desperately want to hang prints of these in my room

You can purchase the vector files for $10 each at my Etsy store (also called DecoEchoes). I also offer high-quality 24x36 prints for $40 each plus shipping ($25 per shipment). I can also custom print other sizes, such as 16x20 ($35 each) and 8x10 ($25 each). If you order the entire series, we can negotiate a special bulk price.Β

Interestingly, this is a similar sort of minimalism that characterized a lot of the art in Communist Bulgaria. I'm Bulgarian and things like cigarette boxes or advertisements also used stylized vector-like imagery

Interesting. Do you have any links to examples of that style?

Yes. detstvoto.net/index.php?do=cat⦠This is a website documenting the things in a child's life during communism. On the left are categories and there are tons of photos of products from the 70s and 80s (mostly).
People say that the manufacturers used that kind of style because it was the one requiring least effort In any case, there was no incentive to make your toys look particularly catchy.
