heh... we got like 8 inches of snow about 2 weeks ago...(20 cm) worst is when it melt and then freeze again, black ice (thin thin layer of ice on asphalt...you dont see it until you slip)

ahhh scary!! My dad grew up in Minnesota so I have heard some similar horror stories about ice and snow X.X

heh... I have distant relatives (distant as never met them) on my mothers side that emigrated to Minnesota when swedes emigrated there. Think they ended up in Redwings.

Ay that's not too far from the twin cities where my fam was. It's so lovely there in the summer but I don't envy the winters.

Sometimes snow can be pretty though especially if "untouched", in the pic below, the "lowest" part of the fence/railing, its a part that really goes up to your knee (roughly) just to give a snowdepth likeness (or what to call it). I like the blue tints that sometimes is 'created' in the snow. (2nd pic)
