Description Taken on my Docklands excursion, going back to Spencer Street station.
It links Spencer Street to the Telstra Dome so when there's an event all the people can get off at Spencer Street and walk over easily. It's also supposed to double as a 2nd entrance to the train station, but it's really under used because you can't see when your train is arriving until *after* you've put your ticket in and the screens they use are just plain crap simple dot matrix ones.

But it's a cool looking bridge. On the Spencer street side of it, there used to be a water feature, but due to water restrictions, it's turned off. At night there used to be scrolling red lights, but they're also gone due to construction work at the station. All the trains into Melbourne (suburban, rural and interstate) go under this bridge, so expect a few more shots from it

It's also just a nice coincidence that the runner in the photo is wearing a red t-shirt

I wish it was in a tourism pamphlet.
I kinda take the photos thinking "if I wanted to show off Melbourne to someone who has never been here before, how would I take this shot?".

I've never been to this part of the city. Which makes sense having never travelled out of spencer st station or to the docklands. Lovely photo. Some of it reminds me of evil sydney instead. Maybe it's the sun's presence
