You guys are wrong !!! the cake not have poison, its useless to the creators of glados learn her to make a poison cake, its because you broke the blue core with her rocket launcher and the blue core is the information core, it has the recipes of the cake and the neurotoxins, and after broke she mixed the two recipes in one, you can see the right recipe of cake if you go to the left side, before the final battle you will see a projector behind a mirror, it has a code message its not hard to figure out whats the code, heres the real cake recipe... Glados cake recipe 2/3 of granulated sugar , 3 large eggs , 1 teaspoon vanilla extract , 2 cups of all purpose flour , 2/3 cup cocoa , 1/4 teaspoon baking soda ,1 teaspoon salt , 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/3 cups water , 1-2 ounces each in cans vanilla frosting ,dont forget garnishes such as fish-shaped crackers and fish-shaped candies

I love GLaDOS, the way I look at it, she wanted Chell to escape, but she wanted her to be ready to face the Combine when she has to, GLaDOS could have killed her many times before, but didn't, and even when Chell killed GLaDOS, it's not like it was a serious thing to her, having all thoe back up cores and all.
But anyway this is just a theory so yeah I could be way off.
