I did this piece with an intention for practice only. I’m not a fan of Moon Knight, and honestly I haven’t read its comic. But I do like his costume, as it is fit with my purpose for drawing cloaked heroes. Sure there’s plenty more super heroes with cloak or cape, but I didn’t want to draw another Batman/Superman fan art…I used different technique in here too. In most of my art, I put my rough sketch as a guide only, or inked it. But in this piece, I paint and smudge over the sketch itself, in one layer. So basically, I paint in two colors only, black and grey. As for blue shading, I just put new layer on top of it, change it to ‘color’ and use gradient tool to fill lower area with light blue. The result is still like kind of sketch, but smoother. Its remind me of Joe Jusko’s earlier works (don’t get me wrong, Jusko’s was superb, while mine is nothing)
Shame on me for not adds any background in it… (I have tried, but it came with catastrophic result)

tau dikit doak jagoan anti hero yg suka se enaknya klo nge berantas kejahatan kaya punisher, dapet kekuatan dr dewa kuno mesir lupa namanya..
gak punya kekuatan khusus tp lebih mirip kaya spawn pake rante2 yg ada huknya, trus sama keling... pa ya bahasa indonya keling, itu yg duri2 di pake dii tangan buat mukul.... nama orangnya lupa euy.
mirip batman klo siang orang biasa klo malem jd hero. tar dhe lengkapnya saya bales nanti liat dulu kekekek...

You got that right, emang kalo diliat2 detil lipatannya agak aneh. Gw demen bikin lipatan2, tp masih kudu banyak belajar, terutama kalo udah jenis yg ribet ky gini hehehe...

Yeah, I just realize that after taking nearly 5 hours on this one, and there's actually one of my art teacher which done ALL of his digital artwork only in one layer! Awesome guy!

2 years ago I did this character too!!! It was without reading about too because suddently at school the teacher said "You have to draw that!!!" and most of us where like... O___O;; eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh??

Hahaha, thanks! I knew this character from my childhood days too! My friends have its comic and said to me that it was awesome (If I'm not mistaken, it was drawn by Stephen Platt). But I never read it coz I think his Spawn books are better

'Cape'-nya nabrak pinggir kertas, jadi bengkok ke bawah hahaha... Tp betulan sih, pengennya bikin lebih terbentang, tapi ya itu, kertasnya ngg cukup... kayanya harus mulai pindah ke A3 nih buat gambar2...
