Well done! Drawing real people is hard... because they have like faces and features and stuff. ha ha- but I think you captured his likeness here really well (especially that menacing stare - makes you look twice).
The wall he is sitting on also gives some real depth (I don't think this image would have the same charm without the wall). All I would say is the jacket looks a big loose on him (since this kind of jacket are often quite 'square' shaped on people (though I am not one to talk because I put way too many folds into all my jackets

like photo references? Did you use a pic of Moriarty? For my drawing I normally take pictures of myself to use as reference for poses and stuff :3

I used a close up to do his face and details on his suit but that's about it.
