Pearl Waterfall,Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve
Sichuan Province, China
Pearl Waterfall lies in the right fork (Rize Valley) of this UNESCO reserve in southwest China. The waterfall is a broad cascade that extends over hundred metres in width into crystal clear water below.

really like your gallery, this one included. Most photographers would have spent more focus on the fall itself, but the little island sure makes this an interesting view.

Beautiful shot! I went there several years ago and was absolutely astounded at the natural beauty of Jiuzhaigou. Was it overcast when you went? The sky looks very grey.

in the morning the visibility was very poor with mist and fog - it burned off for blue skies later in the day though - I agree - it really is like a haven on earth
