Description **** My daughter has been able cleared up for me exactly what these cuties are. I was incorrectly calling them Hummingbird moths but they are Whitelined Sphinx Moths. We also have the hummingbird moths here in Minnesota but they are darker and larger than the Whitelined Sphinx Moth. Thanks Angel!

Actually from what I just read the Hummingbird moth is their cousin.

I think they are. Whenever the hummingbirds arrive, these moths make a quick exit. They are also more trusting the the hummingbirds.
