Description
Okay. This is a lil' Art, behnd this is an idea of meI played ME2 as a full renegade. I was totally for cerberus, never angry to TIM... and then I started in ME3 in vancouver, and TIM told me on Mars I broke with him
... I thought "WTF!?"
Okay, I know. If you were able to join Cerberus, this will be a totally other game and this is not possible.
So I created this Pic to see what happend, when you join Cerberus
Kai Leng will be the Soldier in the Game.
Eva the Engeneer
Miranda is possible if she survive (only the fact with Henry Lawson must be cleared in a way); I hink she will not break with Cerberus, cause Shep has a high influence to his team.
Legion is there, cause you can sell him to Cerberus and they re-programing him. For anybody who do not know. Sell him and play the Cronos Station, you will be surprised
Same for Jack. (I love her. She is wonderful... this is only a idea
I think, brainwashed, she will join your team.
Jacob will be possible too.
The only thing which is missing is the biotic in the team. I mean a biotic for the start. In ME you always have a member for every possible team bulid.
This is the reasn why you have EDI (engeneer), James (soldier) and Liara (biotic).
Missions will be easy. You are on Cerberus side. So "you" attack Sur'kesh, etc etc... the game from the other side
So, this is my lil' idea. I know, it's bad and evil.
But a funny idea
Or see it as a DLC (like the "Dark Spawn DLC" in Dragon Age: Origins)

But if you run renegade won't you risk ending up in an Eva - Tim evilmance? I guess you could just reject them though or break out a little humorous 4th wall teases.

I would have loved a Dark Spawn Chronicles type "what if DLC" for ME3 in which Shepard remained with Cerberus.
Its a Pity Bioware didn't stop to consider such a thing.

I could do it... bt I'm really bad in writing much in english
Kai Leng is only a soldier with dark matter tech in his gloves.
So he will the soldier, Eva the engeneer... only a biotic is missing.
But james was very new in ME3 so we can make a new one for the biotic
...but a bit sadly... no Asari

I read the novels, wiki, code and so on. Kai is no biotic, sorry... maybe in ME3 cause of some implnants he have some skills, but he is no real biotic.

I would like that

This, in fact, could have been done (provided developers realy wanted to go through with it), much like the fork was made in "The Wither 2", where the second part of the game could be entire different (depending on which faction you sided with).

I lack the skill to preperly explain it in English (it's my third language), but the way I see it "Cerberus" is just an undercover wing of the Alliance.
There's so much dirty work to be done, and the Alliance is under spotlight and saddled with red tape every step of the way (especially when humans were junior race of the Council).
My guess that is why "Cerberus" was born. It was involved in every matter officially prohibited by the Council (rachni and Thorian experiments, true AI construction, ruthless experiments on human or sentient subjects, etc).
Also remember that it's being financed by high-level political and military figures, industry bosses, it get plans for the "Normandy" directly from the Alliance, it gets armour upgrade for the "Normandy" from the Alliance, it recruits soldiers and engineers directly from the Alliance... No way this should be possible for ~150 total members (if I remember correctly) organization unless it has some inside help from the Alliance... a LOT of help actually.
Basically it's just a radical portion of the Alliance that is used when it needs to get its hands dirty. And the reason they are labled as "terrorists" is to have deniability in case "Cerberus" fails and its actions are exposed.
One of the possible endings of the second part of the game was to hand Collertor base to TIM, and I see no reason for Shepard that has chosen this way to suddenly break up with "Cerberus".
Also I see no reason for "Cerberus" to fight the Alliance. Firstly, "Cerberus" is made from the Alliance personnel. Secondly, there's SO MUCH work to be done to gain understanding how control and subdue the Reapers, and so very little time. Sticking a knife in the back of the Alliance obviously reduces this time dramatically, and that is the last thing "Cerberus" would want in my opinion.

Deemonef In reply to Exiton [2013-05-02 21:33:57 +0000 UTC]
Right. Cerberus was built under General Williams in the first contact war.
Cerberus was a special Group of the alliance (3 members) to act against the turians and find out, what they are hiding on a colony.
But after the war cerberus become renegade.
They have no more bounds with the alliance. But intern moles and informants who work secretly for cerberus bring informations to Cerberus.
150 members are only the cell of Miranda lawson, there are a lot more Members
Cerberus want to get the humanity rising... sometimes most of the time they act like: The end justifies the means.
And to be honest. Cerberus did more damage to humans than to aliens
Why everybody say they are harming aliens

> But after the war cerberus become renegade. They have no more bounds with the alliance.
This is the "official" story to maintain deniability. I don't buy it.
> But intern moles and informants who work secretly for cerberus bring informations to Cerberus.
This is impossible nowdays, and is even less possible in the future. I beleive this is also the "official" story about how "Cerberus" got intel and money, while in fact they were given to them directly, same as they are given now by NATO to Libyan or Syrian "freedom fighters".
> Cerberus did more damage to humans than to aliens.
As I said earlier events of the third part should not be happening the way they are shown. Cerberus would never ever hurt humans en masse for any reasons. This contradicts the very purpose of its existence.

But in ME1 Cerberus use humans for so many experiments. Rachni, Creeper, Husks
I knwo, all for humanity, but it's a sad fact, that more humans died by the hand of cerberus than aliens
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Exiton In reply to Deemonef [2013-05-04 17:24:55 +0000 UTC]
Rachni were supposed to be expendable foot soldiers, and are not human.
Creepers and Husks were humans once, but are now dead by definition, so there's no harm to run a few experiments on them. You realy should put the blame on the Reapers for creating husks, and on Exogeny for creating creepers.
The only accounts where Cerberus used humans was this threasher maw incident and Jack origin facility, and TIM said that was unauthrized local initiative.

Deemonef In reply to Exiton [2013-05-04 17:34:12 +0000 UTC]
No you missunderstood me.
Cerberus put hmans in ME1 with Rachni together and other creatures to see, how they react on human.
100 of human were killed, this includes Admiral Kahoku.
Cerberus created Creeper by themslef, they used samples from Feros.
I know, in conclusion it was all for humanty, but overthink one fact.
They kill your mother with a Rachni and tell you: We did it for humanity. Now we now, that rachni like to kill humans

> Cerberus put hmans in ME1 with Rachni together and other creatures to see, how they react on human.
I don't remember that one.
And Kahoku had to die 'cause of the risc he posed - he could have exposed this whole Alliance/Cerberus deal. Remember that noone could help him, he had to actually hide! Can you imagine Alliance ADMIRAL hiding in fear for his life if Cerberus was just a terrorist cell and not backed up by Alliance?
Cerberus did not use innocent women in their experiments. Only soldiers, who at a certain level have already agreed to sacrifice themselves to the good of mankind (as I understand the service in Alliance is voluntary).

call me crazy, but that would be awesome if you could play the game from cerberus side.
i think it would be fun to play the bad guys. i imagine the second human spectre (kaidan or ash) would be your counterpart on alliance side... ouh, thessia in ME3, just think about it!
you could help morinth out, with her little 'mother problem' and the she would join you. an ardart yakshi working (or using?) cerberus, imagine that!
and maybe, just maybe, jacob will be actually cool as a bad buy.
so much possibilities!
and in the end we would be controlling the reapers, muahahahahahaha!
