Description
I got some suggestions after my last comics.had a wonderful idea and wanted to see a close up of a very sexy butt
So here is a Comic about the... let's call it: The fantasy-armor-problem.
Many fantasy gals have a very sexy armor... put zero protection
I know this is made for the big-eyes-effect but this seems so weird and senseless
Most mess: In ME1 you were able to give your crew armor and aboard they wear her casual look. This was much better and more realistic.
A shame that this is not an option in ME2
So, here you have sex, beautyness... and no fear of heat, damage, bullets and pain
Shepard by PrincessFelia
Samara by Goha
Jack by o0Crofty0o
Miranda Lawson by o0Crofty0o
Helmet by Goha
Tech armor by Goha
Cabin by Annashepard
SSV Normandy SR1 by the-joeblack
Program by XNALara
Mass Effect and its assets belong to Electronic Arts and BioWare

Yeah ME1 was way more realistic in nearly every aspect. My biggest WTF moment when it comes to armor was when Jack just had a little breather mask in a vacuum. Biotics don't hold in air pressure or protect you from extremes in temperature. There was so much from ME1 that got dropped not just all the cool armors you could use for your team. Was ME1 perfect? Clearly the answer is no, but you improve what doesn't quite work, not scrap it.
At the very least Bioware came out with an alternative costume pack that gave Miranda armor. Not that I have ever seen anyone ever use it in pictures here on DA. Not to mention as I remember there was still no helmet.

Thank you
It means a lot to me, that you feel the same
Yeah, the armor thing in bad
And you are right "Sexiness" don't save you from cold, heat, vacuum and bullets.
And yeah, miri get a armor, but as you said: no helmet.
A shame, that a real good game, had such silly faults

I kind of wish I had any skills in 3D modelling and textures, I would love to see Jack's armor. I'm thinking Cerberus standard issue, but covered in graffiti. I don't think they would be identical to her tattoos as I think she is more creative than that. Not to mention it would be yet another way for her to give Cerberus the middle finger.

I hope I can find some who can model this... and I will mention that it was your idea... great!!!!

What we really need is someone to give away mission armors for all the team. And if you can find someone who is willing to tackle this, please give me a heads up as I would love to see them. This could be the "If Mass Effect 2 was more like Mass Effect 1".
This kind of makes me wonder what the Mako could have been if they had improved it, instead of scrapping it. Back before ME2 came out there were several Mako improvement threads on Bioware's forums, which I contributed to a lot. To bad they ignored all of that.

Makes little sense, but at the same time, they're all biotics, ranged damage is their thing so they can fight from cover pretty well. What make me sad is that they die less than Garrus when I take my squad out in ME1 and 2. Everytime I look that turian is dead! What does he do o.o

Deemonef In reply to Fieta [2013-10-06 11:23:40 +0000 UTC]
Yeah... he have a heavy armor I dunno if it's cause that Garrus is a sniper.
But why is Garrus so realistic and the sexy girls not
And for the biotics, you are mainly true:
But all asari in battlefield (which are the most powerful biotics) wear armor
...only Aria not, but she's the same than all "main-NPCs": Sexy... and don't need armor.
A shame, cause I love ME so much... but such hings are weird

Not to mention their space-suits in ME2 were simply breathing masks on their faces.
That was a disappointment, really.

because Reapers are usually tougher than anything in the galaxy when Asari fighting with only pirate scum, boobs are protected enough always :3

Yeah
But not only on Thessia they were in all games amor in battlefield.
i think Bioware thinks, at the level of 2 of sexiness and more, you don't need a armor anymore

Everial In reply to ??? [2013-10-06 07:28:57 +0000 UTC]
I guess the logic is that if your shields are down, an armor won't give you any protection against a projectile going with a fraction of speed of light . Therefore the point of the armor is to boost your shields/barriers, your healing (let's say that is the magic health bar that automatically gets back up after some time), strenght, aim etc.
So maybe Miranda's catsuit is made of some fiber that boosts one control over biotics?
Samara clearly relies on hear powers, and well, look to intimidate enemies.
And Jack? Well, she's Jack

Deemonef In reply to Everial [2013-10-06 09:42:21 +0000 UTC]
intimidate enemies
So rue my friend
ME2 and ME3 (since EA) was aboard used more powers to bring sexiness in the game than realism.
In ME1 everybody wears a armor, and on thesia all Asari wear armors... therefor it's weird tahn some human biotics wear nothing-
I think even if it is a sci fi game... you need a biiiiiiit realism
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Everial In reply to Deemonef [2013-10-06 15:31:12 +0000 UTC]
Yeah well, on the other hand Liara aint wearing armor, and no one is bitching about it? (though she has the lowest health in ME3, so at least it's rational).
I guess they should have went with enhanced version of ME1. Casual clothes on board, armors on land. Cause Garrus running around in superheavy armor around is kinda weird the other way . Especially that there are Turians in clothes since ME1
.
Plus, if there were no sexy outfits for the girls, someone would make a mod, and provide them with such. And you would probably use them, wouldn't you (considering those... interesting armor for the girls in DAO)?
I know I would
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Deemonef In reply to Everial [2013-10-06 18:59:20 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I would use them
But you are right, at first the makers have to give us a realistic game.
Yeah as I said, ME1 was great with the armors and I wished that for ME2 and ME3
And yeah, liara is low on armor too
And I bitch around with this
But in this comic I took the three main problems

Hehe Welcome! But ya, I really didn´t like the fact, that Shepard has to wear heavy armour (which didn´t always look good) While everyone else can dress into almost casual looking clothes. Miranda´s outfit is not too different than the one you wear on the Normandy.

...but on ythe other hand she have such a feminine body and slender arms... I wonder how she beat James

She can bet Vega, if she can fight hand to hand againt Yagh .
I guess a shitload of titanium, and some other sci-fi metals, alloys and composites woven into your muscle, bones and skin make one preety much indestructible (like getting "shot-by-a-Reaper-and-surviving" indestructible).

The armor was really done badly in ME2, specially for all the female characters. But even Jakob could use some better protection. Really makes you wonder. I mean i really don't mind them running around naked on my ship but on the missions...
I prefer the armor upgrades from ME1 in that case. I dont need all the weapons you could get there, that was maybe a bit over the top but it was a real shame they took that away. Same goes for that horrible talent system in ME2. At least they fixed that in ME3.

Yeah you speak to my heart
Jacob and Ashley wear outfits which ou use for go clubbin' and not for the battle field
Yeah, the weapons were a bit to much in ME1 but the armors were really imprtant for me
Wishes they fix this
...but snce EA was aboard they did more for sexiness, than for realism
